A beautiful new kitchen project in hand-painted shaker style
We are delighted to share new images of a meticulously crafted traditional kitchen in Surrey, designed and installed by Design Matters of South Bucks. The kitchen is completely bespoke, and hand-painted on site to include cabinets in a soft palette of neutral shades, with Black Forest granite worktops and splashback. The sink area is made from Carrara Bianco marble, and the elegantly curved breakfast bar is in premium walnut.
A stunning selection of Miele appliances have been included in this design including twin ovens, a high spec microwave, a steam oven and twin warming drawers suitable for a range of cooking applications including slow cooking. There are also twin dishwashers in the kitchen, and twin washing and condenser-drying machines in the adjacent utility room from the new Miele W1 range, that features integrated detergent containers which automatically dispense at two points during the wash cycle for exceptional results.
In the dining area there is a feature media unit, another bespoke piece created by Design Matters, and a display area with interior lighting and an integrated Miele coffee machine. The project is completed with a handmade and hand-painted boot room with additional storage. To see more pictures of this project, visit our Portfolio pages.
