In our continuing series on new products spotted at the annual kitchen industry product event, KBB 2018, we are focussing in this post on the Franke stand, and their beautifully designed range of sinks and taps.
Franke has pulled out all the stops for 2018 with its latest collection featuring stunning metallic taps and sinks in a range of colours, and a selection of really well thought-out sink accessories that make the sink area a more useful and multi-tasking space. We have loved the discreet satin steel Franke overflow for a couple of years. Today, the sleek waste on the new sink models really stands out (above) as a nice design feature, and a great contemporary upgrade to the traditional basket waste (below). That said, Franke is still leading the way with substantial, well made sinks in finishes and sizes that appeal to our customers.
Sadly the latest Franke taps in metallic colours were hidden in a display that made them very difficult to see or photograph. You’ll have to take it from us that the new colours are really beautiful in person, and this excerpt from the Franke web site (below) gives an idea of the range of finishes available. It seems we are moving away from chrome or brushed steel as the standard options for cabinet handles, and taps. Watch this space for more product information as it becomes available.
