Corporate Kitchens accessible contract

We are essentially a design and project management team, bringing our expertise together to produce the kitchen of your dreams.

Here’s how we work:

  1. We suggest you start by looking at home interiors magazines to come up with some idea of the type of kitchen furniture and appliances you like and dislike. Think about the way your current kitchen works. Are there issues you would like to resolve in planning your new kitchen?
  2. Next, make an appointment to see one of our designers. They may ask you to bring your architects plans or a rough sketch of the proposed kitchen area, so that we have an idea of the scope of the project.
  3. We will show you some of our recent work, explain the features of the kitchens on display in our showroom and talk through the different furniture styles, appliances and worksurfaces that are available.
  4. This meeting should provide enough information to create an outline floor plan and an estimate of the budget required to complete the project.
  5. To proceed to a full design, a fee will be charged. This starts at £150 + VAT for local customers and is fully refunded once you place an order with us. The design fee is a small contribution towards our designer’s time in producing a detailed quotation and full kitchen design to include plan, elevation and full colour CAD perspectives showing how your kitchen will eventually look. We will visit site to measure during this process to check that we are working to accurate measurements.
  6. Fine-tuning the design can take several meetings, but we commit to work with our clients until they are completely happy with their new kitchen design. This is time well spent, as the images in our portfolio pages demonstrate.
  7. In order to convert a quotation to an order a deposit of 25% will be required. This is fully insured by the KBSA, our specialist industry association.
  8. We agree a window of time during which installation may take place, and order the various elements of your kitchen.
  9. The goods are delivered by our suppliers and held securely at our warehouse facility in Watford.
  10. We generally visit site before delivery to check that everything is ready.
  11. We request a further 70% payment 7 days prior to delivery. On delivery day, title of the goods passes to you.
  12. We deliver the goods to site just prior to installation. Fitting then takes 3-6 weeks depending on the actual materials ordered. There is a delay between the templating and fitting of granite or composite stone worktops, for example, as they are manufactured to order. We will guide you through this process and keep you informed of timings.
  13. At the end of the job we visit site to check for ‘snags’. This usually takes the form of minor corrections and adjustments, and we complete these as soon as possible.
  14. We supply you with care notes for your new kitchen, and instructions for warranty registration.
  15. Finally, we ask you to sign a completion note, and we pass on our last invoice for 5% of the contract value, and a questionnaire to check on the service we have provided.
  16. You enjoy your beautiful new kitchen.
