ACCESSIBLE KITCHENS – FEATURED PROJECTS

  • Cashmere Acrylic and Cubanite by Access Matters

This vibrant kitchen offers plenty of height-adjustable cooking and food preparation space in an ‘l-shaped’ arrangement. The worktops have a raised edge on all four sides to contain hot spills and the large l-shaped rise and fall worktop has safety stops on all edges including the bottom edge of the modesty panel, so that our client’s knees and feet are fully protected.

  • Gloss Grey and Driftwood by Access Matters

This fully accessible kitchen is located at the University College of Aylesbury Vale, where a Centre of Excellence in Telehealth and Assisted Living (CETAL) has been created for research and teaching purposes. This will be a resource where service users, manufacturers and health professionals can develop and road-test the latest ideas in assisted living, bringing a wide range of new products together for testing and evaluation.

  • Gloss White Acrylic and Macassar by Access Matters

This fabulous contemporary space won Adam the ‘KBSA Accessible/Inclusive Designer Award 2015’! It features an asymmetric island unit, and cabinets in high gloss acrylic white, and macassar effect. Plus pale blue glass splashbacks and white worktops with a waterfall edge to contain spills. Neff appliances and a smart Falmec extractor with remote control complete the picture.
