Corporate Kitchens accessible contract

The accessible kitchen of the future, available now from Design Matters

Cooking and preparing food is an exciting and fulfilling pastime, and also a basic daily requirement for us all. Independence in the kitchen can increase our sense of wellbeing and allow us to learn new skills. We can also enjoy spending satisfying leisure time with friends and family when we can invite them to join us for a meal.

At Design Matters we want to help everyone access their kitchen, regain their independence and enjoy preparing hot drinks and meals again.

To this end we have brought together a whole range of products tested for safety and accessibility. The days of flimsy flat-pack furniture are long gone, and so is the clinical look that characterised the accessible kitchens of the past. Our kitchens are built with ‘embedded accessibility’ which means that accessible features are incorporated from the start, and not added afterwards.  Some of these features work better for specific impairments than others, and we will help guide you through your choices with great attention to detail.

Select your furniture then add appliances, worktops and accessories from the ranges shown in the menu to the right of this page. There are plenty of images illustrating the different features we can include in our kitchens, and you can download your own copy of our full colour furniture brochure.

Your first meeting with our designer Adam Thomas is free and without obligation, so make an appointment today to view our fully featured display kitchen and find out what we can do to help you enjoy your kitchen once more.
