Refrigerated drawers allow chilled food to be accessed readily below worktop height. Controls are mounted along the top edge of the drawer front making them easy to see and alter if required.

Accessible kitchens are no longer clinical looking. Here, a long run of units demonstrate the use of colour-contrast edges to doors and drawer fronts which give good visual cues to users with a visual impairment.
