Here our client shows that the substantial 'rise and fall' worksurface can be operated with the touch of a button. Locating both hob and sink on the same hydraulic unit makes the best use of this fabulous technology and means that it can be adjusted at will.

This smart kitchen makes the most of a bright, sunny space with light colours and a simple colour scheme. The Hotpoint oven has been selected because its controls are mounted on the door itself, and not above it, which makes them more accessible.

Access Matters Alabaster Kitchen Dish Drawer

Because it is not a standard integrated appliance the Fisher & Paykel Dish Drawer can be mounted at any height, making dishwashers fully accessible. Also, the salt and detergent reservoirs on these machines are located inside the front fascia which makes day to day use much easier.

Access Matters Alabaster Kitchen Sink Area

A top view of the 'rise and fall' worksurface shows that the sink is fitted with a stainless steel base. The spout swivels to accommodate larger pots and pans. Larger items can easily be pushed between hob and sink to reduce lifting.

Access Matters Alabaster Kitchen Front Mounted Taps

Because we make our wet areas out of Corian (a solid, waterproof material) spouts and taps can be situated anywhere, to suit each client's requirements. Here our client demonstrates how easy it is to access front-mounted taps.

Access Matters Alabaster Kitchen Pullout Shelf

This single oven has been set up to give maximum access. The door can open past 90 degrees for added safety, and the pull-out shelf below is insulated with steel so that it can withstand the heat of an pot or pan straight from the oven.
