Geoff Adams-Spink worked closely with accessible kitchen expert Adam Thomas on the design of his new kitchen. Light Oak kitchen cabinets and granite worktops make a classic combination that will stand the test of time.

The materials used in this spacious kitchen have been carefully selected to provide strong visual cues. Lighting has also been placed to provide function as well as beauty.

Light Oak and Granite, Glass Breakfast Bar

The glass breakfast bar has been set at the correct height to provide a useful accessible work and food preparation space.

Light Oak and Granite, Preparation Island

The oversized island with granite worksurface provides ample storage as well as plenty of easily accessible preparation space. The height adjustable stools make access to this area more comfortable.

Light Oak and Granite, Media Storage

This neat storage area conceals the wall-mounted boiler in the central cupboard and provides useful additional appliances with heat-resistant pullout surfaces beneath.

Light Oak and Granite, Cooking Appliances

The heights in this kitchen are critical to its accessiblity. Each appliance has been set at just the right height to provide convenient and safe access. Pullout shelves beneath appliances are especially useful in this design.

Light Oak and Granite, Display Unit

A large display unit with glass doors above, and drawers below houses an integrated wine cooler for perfect wine storage.

A fabulous custom designed kitchen for Geoff Adams-Spink, former BBC correspondent and producer, and now company director of Adams-Spink Ltd. This design includes state of the art appliances, specialist lighting and a number of remote controlled accessories.
