Worksurfaces form an important part of every kitchen, and we offer our accessible clients a wide range of worksurface options, along with some innovative safety features, such as raised edges to contain spills, self-contained ‘wet’ areas, and ‘rise and fall’ units by Ropox. We are dealers for top quality appliance manufacturers but we have a few favourites when it comes to accessible design. Of particular interest are ovens that offer special safety features, such as anti-tilt shelves, triple-glazed doors and combi-ovens with side-opening doors. Not to be confused with electric ceramic hobs, induction hobs are useful for many of our clients because they offer such precise control. A strong electro magnetic positioned just under the ceramic cooking zone completes an electric circuit once a ferrous metal pan is placed on it. Heat is transferred evenly to the pan and its contents, and stops as soon as the pan is removed from the hob, leaving much less residual heat than any other type of hob. Less heat also means that an induction hob is very easy to keep clean and its flat profile offers extra protection against smaller saucepans tipping over, as they can on conventional pan stands.

A very popular recent innovation is the advent of pull-out appliances. In addition to the usual range of pull-out storage baskets in our kitchen cabinets, we supply pull-out Liebherr fridges, where the shelves come to you. Also, the fabulous new Fisher and Paykel Dish Drawer which is both a dishwasher and a storage area, and helps keep floors free of stains and splashes by containing spills.
