Service Option 1: If you are located within a 1 hour drive of our South Bucks showroom, we can design and supply your kitchen, and provide a full service covering all trades, including flooring specialists, etc. Or, we can work with your builders, fit the kitchen, and leave them to finish the room as required.
Service Option 2: If you are located within a 3 hour drive of our South Bucks showroom, we can design and supply your kitchen, and provide a fitter to fit and connect your kitchen to a room prepared by your builders. We create detailed drawings for your tradesmen, so that electrical points and water supplies can be located exactly as required for your design. When the kitchen is ready for delivery, our fitter will spend a few days in your area installing the kitchen. Your builder can then finish the room to your requirements with tiling, flooring, etc.
Service Option 3: If you are located over 3 hours drive away from our South Bucks showroom, we can design your kitchen, and supply it to you anywhere in the UK. This option does not normally include fitting, however this can be arranged in some circumstances.
In our experience, Service Option 2 is the most common. Many of our clients are having extensive building work carried out as part of an adaption or extension and find that our design, supply and fit option is what they really need. We are used to working with builders and ensure that no detail is missed. Our kitchen cabinets are not off-the-shelf units, and 8 to 10 weeks must be allowed to build the kitchen and gather the hundreds of different elements together in our warehouse prior to installation.
When the time comes to fit the new kitchen, our fitters understand the needs of our clients, and know that a discarded screw on the floor can be a hazard for a wheelchair user, and a carelessly placed coffee cup can pose problems for another client. They are trained to work safely and carefully, and some of them have been in the business for longer than us!
In addition to design and fit services, we supply services on a consultancy basis to architects, occupational therapists and those with an interest in accessible design. Adam has been called upon to provide written reports to support compensation claims in his capacity as an Expert Witness, and he gives talks and lectures to interested parties from time to time.
